BBQ Louisiana Pork chops

Barbequed pork chops Louisiana

1) Brown 4-6 pork chops, ½” thick in 2 Tbsp shortening over medium heat. Place chops in 2 quart

shallow baking dish. Cook 1 sliced, medium onion in the skillet until tender. Place onion on top of

chops.

2) Mix together 2 cups applesauce, ¾ cups catchup, 3 Tbsp brown sugar, 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce,

1 ½ tsp salt, 2-3 drops of Tabasco sauce.

3) Pour over chops/onions. Bake at 350 for 45 min. or until tender.
